J’den sales gallery draws over 7,000 visitors on preview weekend

J’den, the very first new launch in Jurong Gateway in the past 10 years, drew a total of 7,000 people in its weekend of public preview, and the sales bookings will commence on the 11th of November. This comes as no surprise given the development’s impressive features and “the strong interest in integrated developments”.
Tan Yew Chin, CEO of CapitaLand Development (Singapore), states that the season of enthusiasm for J’den’s launch is a reflection of the “pent-up interest in private residential launches in Jurong Gateway, the vibrant heart of Jurong Lake District”.
At 40 storeys and 150 metres in height, J’den would become the new tallest residential tower, and the first mixed-use development in the area. Furthermore, the newly constructed development will boast a total of 368 units of residences, ranging from one-bedroom to four-bedroom premium units, between 527 and 1,485 sq ft.
Justin Kwek of OrangeTee & Tie said that the overwhelming turnout over the weekend could be a possible measure of the consumer’s confidence in the developer’s reputation. Ken Low, managing partner of SRI, also comments on the weekend’s “largest preview crowds” this year.
Mark Yip, CEO of Huttons Asia, mentioned that the Jurong Lake District (JLD) is said to transform into a mixed-use business and world-class sustainability district. Since the area would be served by four MRT lines (including the Jurong Region Line by 2029 and Cross Island Line by 2032), it would be linked to the CBD, Jurong Innovation District, one-north and education hubs within a 30-minute train ride.
As one of the rarest EC launches, Senja Close EC Bukit Panjang offers a wide range of units and a comprehensive list of facilities to its home-seekers. Residents will be spoilt for choice with a fantastic array of amenities such as a swimming pool area, fitness corner, clubhouse, a 50m lap pool, 50m children’s pool, Jacuzzi, BBQ pavilions, tennis court, multi-purpose court and an indoor gymnasium. Senja Close EC Bukit Panjang also features a wide selection of floor plans from 2-room to 5-room premium apartments, all offering spacious living areas with high ceiling height. In addition, Ismail Gafoor of PropNex commented on how the prices at J’den starts from $2,100 psf, which gives many prospective buyers the idea of an “strong value proposition”, and the “pent-up” demand for the development could likely be one of the top-selling new projects of the year.
Young urbanites in their late twenties and early thirties, as seen through Marcus Chu of the ERA Singapore, have shown great interest in the two-, three- and even four-bedroom housing units. With it, J’den has all the amenities and location advantages that gives it an edge from all the other properties in Jurong Gateway.
All in all, J’den of the CapitaLand Development is set to be one of the most sought after developments this year, with its impressive features and great location in the heart of the Jurong Lake District.
