Savills appointed as project manager for new ST Engineering facility
Savills Singapore, in partnership with Arup Singapore, has been cappointed to consult on the design and development of a new $170 million airframe maintenance facility by Singapore-listed engineering group ST Engineering. The new facility at Changi Creek will have four hangar bays that can service widebody aircraft, including a hybrid paint and maintenance bay. The first hangar bay is expected to be ready in mid-2025, followed by the remaining three by the end of 2026.
As the consultant project manager, Savills will work closely with ST Engineering across the entire project life cycle, from due diligence, design, procurement and construction of the new facility. Vincent Lau, senior director and head of project management at Savills Singapore, expressed the firm’s status as one of the leading consultancy project management teams in the construction and real estate market.
This will be Savills’ fifth large industrial greenfield development project clinched by the project management team in the last two years, and is a testament to the faith and trust ST Engineering has placed in Savills.
