New Pullman Singapore Hill Street general manager appointed

Mazen Abilmona was appointed on September 6th as the new general manager of Pullman Singapore Hill Street with the hotel scheduled to open on October 1st. A 25 year hospitality veteran, Abilmona specialises in F&B-focused hospitality properties across the Middle East, China and Singapore.

A graduate from hospitality management, Abilmona kickstarted his career as an F&B service supervisor in Fairmont Dubai in 2001. He was promoted to F&B director by 2007 and led several rebranding projects across various properties such as Fairmont Peace Hotel in Shanghai, Sofitel Sanya Leeman Resort in Hainan and Fairmont Riyadh in the Saudi capital.

In a recent press release, Abilmona stated that the hotel has the aim of creating “the ideal playground where there are always new things for guests to discover”. He expressed his enthusiasm for his new role, commenting, “while I’ve been involved with numerous pre-openings and properties, it’s a different responsibility this time, with a brief that pushes me to dream differently…but my team and I are up for the challenge and incredibly excited to explore the possibilities.”
