Freehold condo units under 500 sq ft in Bukit Merah have only seen an increase of 13% to the current price of $2,322 psf.

Families who are also on the lookout for a home in the vicinity of Spottiswoode 18 yet still within their budget of $1 million can consider the five-room HDB flats on sale. EdgeProp has shortlisted around 10 such listings with prices ranging from $816,000 to $980,000.

The listing with the lowest asking price of $816,000 ($627 psf) is for a 1,302-sq ft flat at 109 Spottiswoode Park Road and the highest asking price of $980,000 ($741 psf) is for a slightly larger 1,323 sq ft flat located at 110 Spottiswoode Park Road. However, both blocks were completed in 1979 and the remaining tenure may play a factor in the buyer’s decision.

Alternatively, buyers can look at the 10 five-room HDB flats in Telok Blangah with prices under $1 million. Among these 10 listings, seven are for flats located along Telok Blangah Heights with prices ranging from $748,000 to $935,000.

For those who are looking for slightly newer yet still affordably-priced units, they can consider the units at 74 Telok Blangah Heights. Completed in 1978, the listings for these flats have asking prices between $748,000 to $799,000.

With the new Bukit Panjang EC, at Senja Residences, future residents will get to live near the upcoming Downtown Line, with stations such as Tengah Park, Cashew and Hillview. This allows residents to enjoy accelerated connectivity to all parts of Singapore and even to the airport. This is made possible by the MRT Downtown Line and the upcoming Thomson-East Coast Line. Residents will love living at Senja Residences, because of its close proximities to important amenities such as Bukit Panjang Plaza, Hillion Mall, and Junction 10.
