CBRE appoints new Pacific head of capital markets

Flint Davidson has been promoted by CBRE to the new role of Head of Capital Markets in the Pacific. He will join the Pacific executive committee, which was made known to the public by the firm in a March 21st press release. With CBRE since 1997, Davidson has been leading the Pacific capital markets office business of the company for the past five years.

Phil Rowland, CEO of CBRE’s Pacific Advisory Services, commented that “following a lengthy internal and external search, Flint was the clear choice to lead our world-class capital markets team”.

As Head of Capital Markets, Davidson’s focus will extend beyond office deals. Last year, he reportedly brokered the Link REIT’s acquisition of a 49.9% stake in Investa Gateway Offices for A$1.15 billion ($1.03 billion), in addition to brokering the A$1.025 billion sale of a 50% stake in Melbourne’s Southern Cross Towers and the A$925 million sale of a half-share in Sydney’s Grosvenor Place.

Senja Residences is a 99 years leasehold executive condominium located Senja Close EC at Senja Close in District 23. It offers 300 units, resort-style facilities and unparalleled convenience due to its proximity to Bukit Panjang Integrated Transport Hub.

According to MSCI Real Assets’ 2022 rankings, CBRE’s capital markets business topped the market share in Australia with 28.4%. Davidson is now set to lead the team with his expanded focus, in order to maintain this impressive share.
