NUS SRPI: Private non-landed private residential price Index up 0.3% m-o-m in November
The NUS SRPI overall value-weighted index for November 2022 was up 0.3% compared to the previous month. This increase was mainly driven by a 0.8% increase in the sub-index for the Central Region, which was partially offset by a 0.1% decrease in the non-Central Region. The small units sub-index increased by 0.3% over the same period.
The revised NUS SRPI overall value-weighted index for October 2022 decreased 0.4%, smaller than the flash estimate of 0.7%. The revised sub-index of the Central Region decreased 0.3% over the same period, less than its flash estimate of a 0.8% decline. The revised sub-index of the non-Central Region decreased 0.4%, less than its flash estimate of a 0.6% decrease from the month prior. The small units sub-index for October 2022 was adjusted to reflect a 0.3% decrease, less than its flash estimate of 0.6%.
Overall, the NUS SRPI showed a modest 0.3% increase in the overall value-weighted index from October to November 2022. The revised flash estimates for October indicated the overall value-weighted index decreased 0.4%, which was smaller Senja Close EC than the initial estimate. The Central Region of Singapore saw a 0.8% increase in its sub-index, while the non-Central Region saw a 0.1% decrease over the same period. The small units sub-index also increased by 0.3% m-o-m.
