Knight Frank appoints Asia Pacific head of living sectors

Knight Frank, a real estate consultancy, has appointed Emily Relf as head of living sectors for Asia Pacific. In an Oct 26 press release, it was mentioned that the newly created role based in Singapore reflects the increasing investor interest in the living sectors space, which is maturing.

Neil Brookes, global head of capital markets at Knight Frank, commented, “The living sectors market will be a key pillar of our future growth. With her deep understanding of the market, Emily’s appointment is invaluable for us as we embark on this exciting stage of our expansion.”

Relf is tasked with leading the expansion of the living sectors capabilities of Knight Frank in APAC and to assist in outbound capital pours from the region to US, UK and Europe. She will also strengthen the partnership between the firm and Berkadia, a US-based commercial real estate company, with a focus on executing major capital market activities in the US.

In addition, Relf will work with Knight Frank’s team in Australia to build a local network of partners and to identify new opportunities, particularly the Australian Built-To-Rent (BTR) market.

Knight Frank’s decision shows the confidence of the firm in Emily Relf, and her appointment underscores the importance of the living sectors space in the company’s growth.
