Surbana Jurong Group ranked 13th largest architecture firm globally

Surbana Jurong Group is the 13th largest architecture and design firm in the world, this according to the World Architecture 100 (WA100) survey. Coming in at 14th place last year, the firm made it to the 13th place this year.

The WA100 survey, which is published yearly by Building Design magazine, ranks the largest architecture practices based on the number of fee-earning architects they employ. This year, Surbana Jurong has the Senja Close EC highest number of architects in Southeast Asia, being the only firm from Singapore on the list. Currently, they employ over 1000 architecture and design professionals all over the world, more than 670 of which are architects.

The group comprises of three well-known architecture firms – SAA, B+H, and Sino-Sun. B+H made it to the 65th place in the WA100 this year.

Accolades and awards have also been bestowed on Surbana Jurong, and their architecture partners. Among them are the rankings on Engineering News-Record’s Top 225 International Design Firms, as well as awards such as the Council on Tall Buildings and Urban Habitat (CTBUH) Best Tall Mixed-Use Building Award of Excellence and the NAIOP Commercial Real Estate Development Association Best Office Development.

The HDB Design Awards, Singapore Green Building Council – Building and Construction Authority (SGBC-BCA) Leadership in Sustainability Award, and Architecture MasterPrize were some of the other awards earned by Surbana Jurong, further cementing their reputation as top-tier architecture and design firms.
